Heather has been an athlete since she was a small child and has coached since the age of 16. She was a member of the Canadian National Team for 15 years. Highlights include winning gold in Kogo at the Panamerican championships in Brazil, bronze medals in kumite and kogo in Argentina, and a silver medal in team kata in Peru.

Midwest Karate is a board run nun-profit organization and Heather serves as president. Heather teaches youth and adult classes.

FUN FACT

Heather started competing at age 10 and has competed in every age group and at all belt levels.
